Tribeca Whole Foods Opens Wednesday, July 9
In the rest of the world, the opening of a new supermarket wouldn't be cause for so much celebration. But, as everyone likes to point out, New York isn't the rest of the world and, well, Whole Foods isn't your corner bodega.
In TriBeCa, long a grocery-starved neighborhood, the opening will be a godsend. For visitors to the city who are exploring the area around City Hall or the World Trade Center, it will provide a place to grab a quick bite to eat. (Or, as these pictures from Racked point out, a lot of cheese.)
The store is at 270 Greenwich Street, between Warren and Murray Streets. The store opens on Wednesday, July 9, at 8:00 a.m.
